Our client offers tools and services covering every area of digital marketing, supporting companies in adopting advanced technology and web marketing.
They engaged SOKAI Inc. to develop a portfolio strategy to bring sustainable growth to the business. SOKAI’s support also included building a dashboard to inform marketing strategy decisions.
Our Proposal to Accelerate the Business
SOKAI began by designing the key questions for analyzing the current state of the client’s multiple products.
The questions covered revenue and contract counts by product, how services were bundled, and the characteristics of client companies. The analysis behind these questions had to be precise enough to support the discussions that would follow.
Building on the current-state analysis, we asked, “What does it take for product adoption to succeed?” and formed the following hypotheses:
- Hypothesis 1: With a growing number of products, is each one getting enough focus?
- Hypothesis 2: Are proposals to customers detailed enough?
- Hypothesis 3: Is the client reaching the companies where its strengths can shine?
In the end, SOKAI recommended two things: the products A and B to focus on, and the attributes of the target companies to approach.
The Results
With the proposal approved, SOKAI organized the promotion and traffic data for focus products A and B, and pursued bundled sales through sales activities personalized to each target company’s profile.
As a result, the actions the client should take became much clearer.
Even with a large product portfolio, a strategic approach is possible when current-state analysis leads to the right hypotheses.
